These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Home Maintenance Tracker. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About the App

Home Maintenance Tracker is a home organization app that helps users save and manage home-related information, including maintenance tasks, appliance details, filter sizes, warranty notes, service records, photos, and reminders.

The app is intended for personal organization only. It does not provide professional home inspection, repair, safety, legal, insurance, financial, or contractor advice.

2. Eligibility

You may use the app only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the app on behalf of another person or household, you are responsible for making sure your use follows these Terms.

3. Your Data and Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter into the app, including notes, photos, reminders, warranty details, appliance details, maintenance logs, and any other saved content.

You should verify important home information before relying on it. This includes, but is not limited to, HVAC filter sizes, appliance model numbers, warranty dates, shutoff locations, maintenance schedules, and contractor notes.

Home Maintenance Tracker is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, outdated, lost, or misunderstood information entered by you.

4. Local Storage

Home Maintenance Tracker is designed to store your app data locally on your device unless a future version clearly states otherwise.

You are responsible for maintaining your own device backups. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or if the app is deleted, your data may be lost unless it has been backed up through your device or another system you use.

5. Photos and Permissions

The app may request access to device features such as photos, camera, or notifications, depending on the features you use.

Photo or camera access is used so you can attach images to your saved home items. Notification permission is used so the app can send maintenance reminders you create.

You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

6. Reminders and Notifications

The app may allow you to create reminders for maintenance tasks or other home-related items.

Reminders are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for completing maintenance tasks on time and verifying any safety-critical information. The app is not responsible for missed reminders, delayed notifications, disabled notifications, device issues, operating system limitations, or failure to complete any task.

7. In-App Purchases

Home Maintenance Tracker may offer a free version with limits and a paid lifetime unlock.

The free version currently allows one home and up to five saved items. The paid lifetime unlock may remove saved-item limits and provide access to premium features described in the app.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment, refunds, Family Sharing availability, purchase restoration, and billing issues are handled by Apple according to Apple’s terms and policies.

8. No Subscription Unless Clearly Stated

The app is intended to use a one-time lifetime unlock model unless the App Store listing or in-app purchase screen clearly states otherwise.

A lifetime unlock means access to the unlocked features for the life of the app as offered and supported by the developer. It does not guarantee that every future feature, separate product, platform, or service will be included.

You agree not to misuse the app. You may not:

Home Maintenance Tracker is not a contractor, inspector, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, insurance advisor, legal advisor, or safety professional.

Any information, templates, categories, reminders, or examples inside the app are for general organization only. You should consult qualified professionals when dealing with repairs, electrical systems, gas systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, structural issues, safety concerns, warranties, insurance claims, or other important home matters.

11. Safety Disclaimer

Home maintenance can involve risk. Do not perform tasks that you are not qualified or comfortable doing. Always follow manufacturer instructions, local laws, safety labels, and professional guidance.

The app is not responsible for injury, property damage, loss, missed maintenance, incorrect repairs, warranty issues, insurance issues, or other consequences related to your use of the app or reliance on information stored in the app.

12. App Availability and Changes

The app may be updated, changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed.

The developer is not responsible if the app is unavailable, incompatible with a future device or operating system, or affected by third-party platform changes.

13. Intellectual Property

Home Maintenance Tracker, including its design, features, code, text, branding, and other materials, is owned by Antonio Gutierrez Sanchez or licensed to him, except for content you add to the app.

You retain ownership of the content you enter into the app.

14. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on Apple services or other platform features, such as App Store purchases, local notifications, photo access, device storage, or backup systems.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. The developer is not responsible for third-party services, platform behavior, or changes made by Apple or other providers.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and merchantability.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antonio Gutierrez Sanchez will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, property damage, missed maintenance, repair costs, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the app or in-app purchase, if any.

17. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store’s standard app licensing terms.

Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for this app. Any support questions should be sent to the contact email listed in these Terms.

18. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. The developer may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms or use the app in a harmful, unlawful, or abusive way.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, intellectual property terms, and user responsibility provisions.

19. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.

Your continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
